The Rocket 13.8ft Tandem with propeller drive is the modular tandem fishing kayak for couples and fishing partners who want instant reverse control and the longer hull length that helps them cover open water efficiently. Three modular sections that switch between solo and tandem in minutes — and still fit in your SUV boot or pickup bed without a roof rack.
Two pedalers, two prop drives, full reverse control. Both cockpits accept a propeller pedal drive that gives forward and reverse with your feet — useful when you're working a spot together, repositioning around structure, or backing away from a dock without paddling. Hands stay on the rod.
Solo or tandem, every trip. Use the front and rear sections for solo fishing. Add the middle section for tandem. Switch in minutes, no tools required. The same propeller drive works in both configurations.
Modular tandem portability. At 13.8ft fully assembled, traditional tandems require a roof rack, a trailer, or a garage. Not the Rocket Tandem. Three sections — each about 35–42 lbs — fit in most SUV boots, pickup beds, and many crossover trunks. Stores in an apartment or spare room without wall brackets.
Built for serious fishing. 550 lbs usable capacity. W-hull stable enough for standing casts. Two cockpit hatches plus a forward hatch for gear, electronics, and tackle. Accessory rail tracks for rod holders and electronics mounts on both cockpits.
