A2 (500 Spectrum) - 2023 Pi Day! VIP LTD

The featured disc for March 2023 was the A2 approach disc by Prodigy in 500 Spectrum plastic with added effects in many of the discs like micro-glitter for extra shimmer. It was a special run made exclusively for the VIP Club and featured a 2-foil stamp from Prodigy. The discs were shipped just a few days late of “Pi Day” which is March 14th since 3.14 are the first three digits in Pi. Thus the number Pi being featured on the mathematical design.

The A2 is the beadless cousin of the A1. This disc is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid turning over their upshots, and who need a disc that they can trust in headwinds. The A2 is still very stable, but it has a bit more glide than the A1 does, and can be expected to fly 30-40 feet further than the A1.

500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.
