M-Tac Patch AR-15 PVC

The M-Tac Patch AR-15 PVC continues the series of patches dedicated to iconic military weapons. This thematic patch will make a great addition not only to a soldier’s collection but also to the wardrobe of any military-style enthusiast.

The patch depicts the American semi-automatic AR-15 rifle, originally developed by ArmaLite as an assault rifle for the U.S. Army. In 1959 the rights were sold to Colt’s, and in the early 1960s, the automatic AR-15 variant under the index M16 was adopted by the U.S. Air Force, and later by the Navy and the U.S. Army.

The patch also features the marking of the .223 Remington cartridge, developed in 1957 by Remington Arms and Fairchild Aircraft for the U.S. Army. The .223 Remington is one of the most popular commercial cartridges and is considered the civilian version of the military 5.56×45 mm NATO round.
