This product requires you to send your Primary & Secondary to KWI for installation, as it needs to be performed in the shop.

The KWI QRS Float is the ultimate solution for resolving the factory alignment flaws in your Can-Am X3 CVT system. If you’ve experienced hard shifting, a secondary clutch that spins at idle, or constant belt failures, chances are your clutch system is misaligned. This misalignment causes the belt to ride unevenly on the sheaves, leading to excessive heat, premature belt wear, and reduced performance.

Our QRS Float Mod addresses this by machining the secondary clutch to allow it to “float” on the shaft—letting it self-align with the primary during operation. This corrects misalignment under all load conditions, resulting in better power transfer, smoother shifting, and drastically improved belt life.

Every QRS Float package begins with a full inspection of your clutches to ensure nothing needs replacement beforehand. With the KWI Float you will get precision sheave resurfacing to eliminate imperfections from wear and factory casting. Paired with our KWI Rollers, the QRS Float becomes the most effective way to restore consistency and maximize CVT performance in your Can-Am X3.
