The XD has a low profile, thin rim which promotes a secure grip and an easy, natural release. These features combined with straight flight characteristics make the XD an easy to throw and control disc. It is the most driver-like putter we have and is useful for putts, drives and approach shots. Good disc for developing a “touch” around the basket.

This older run of Innova R-Pro plastic features a noticeably softer, more flexible feel compared to current production—favored by players who love a gummy, tacky grip with extra give on impact. These early R-Pro blends had a chalkier texture and higher pliability, making them ideal for touch shots, finesse putting, and cold-weather grip. While R-Pro is already known for its enhanced grip over DX or Pro, these softer runs offered even more control and comfort, especially in putters and approach discs. Collectors and throwers alike seek out these vintage R-Pro blends for their trusted feel and unique performance.
