The Radar 10ft is already the most popular modular fishing kayak in the Reel Yaks range. Add the Bixpy trolling motor and it becomes a motorised fishing platform that still fits in your car boot and stores in your apartment. Wide enough to fish standing up. Electric assist for covering distance. No roof rack. No garage. No compromise.
Cover more water, arrive fresh. The Bixpy motor assists your pedal drive so you can cover distance to remote spots without burning out before you even cast. Use motor assist into a headwind, then switch to pure pedal when you're working a spot quietly. The Bixpy is whisper-quiet — it won't spook fish.
Still the most portable 10ft kayak you can buy. The Bixpy attaches without drilling and detaches cleanly. The whole setup — kayak sections and motor unit — fits in a mid-size car boot. Two sections, assembled in 5 minutes, no roof rack ever needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Bixpy fit on the Radar without drilling?
Yes. The Bixpy attaches to designated mounting points on the Radar without permanent modifications. It detaches cleanly when you want pedal-only operation.
How does the Bixpy affect the kayak's stability?
The Bixpy is a low-profile unit that doesn't meaningfully affect the Radar's stability. The wide W-hull remains stable for standing casts with the Bixpy attached.
Will the full bundle fit in my car?
Yes. The kayak sections and Bixpy unit all fit in a mid-size car boot without roof racks. No external carrying required.
