The Rapido 10.8ft with propeller drive is the longest, fastest solo modular kayak in the Reel Yaks lineup — paired with the control of instant reverse. Cover distance efficiently on big open water, then maneuver precisely when you're on the fish. Built-in transducer mount means your electronics are ready from day one. And it still fits in two sections in your car boot.
Long hull. Instant reverse. The 10.8ft hull is fast and efficient over distance. The propeller drive gives you full forward and reverse control with your feet, making it equally capable when you need to hold position in current or back away from structure. The best of both worlds for serious open-water anglers.
Electronics-ready. Built-in transducer mount recess in the hull. No drilling. Route wiring through the scupper holes. The Rapido is designed to run a fish finder from the moment it goes in the water.
Same modular portability. Two sections. Fits in a car boot. No roof rack. No wall mount. Stores in your apartment or spare room and assembles in 5 minutes. The longest kayak in the range with the same no-compromise storage and transport solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose the Rapido over the Recon?
The Rapido is 0.3ft longer and rated to 440lbs (vs 430lbs on the Recon). It's the top-of-range solo performance model — most suited to anglers fishing big open water who want maximum speed and the control of instant reverse.
Will 10.8ft fit in my car?
Yes. The two-section design keeps each piece short enough for most mid-size car boots without roof racks or external straps.
What's the advantage of prop drive at this hull length?
At 10.8ft the hull is fast and efficient going forward. The prop drive's instant reverse means you can use all that speed to cover water and then stop and reposition precisely when you find fish — without paddling backwards.
