The Rocket 9.8ft is for anglers who want a bit more hull length — better tracking, more speed through the water — without the storage and transport headache of a traditional one-piece kayak. It still breaks into two sections that fit in a mid-size car boot and stand upright in your apartment. Just longer where it counts.
Quiet and stealthy on the water. The fin drive pedal system is whisper-quiet — no propeller churn, no disturbance. When you're positioning over structure or moving between spots, the last thing you want to do is spook fish. The Rocket's fin drive keeps you in stealth mode from launch to landing.
More hull, same modular convenience. At 9.8ft, the Rocket tracks straighter and moves faster than shorter models. It still breaks into two sections, still fits in a hatchback or SUV boot without a roof rack, and still stores in an apartment or hallway without wall brackets. No compromise.
Built for serious fishing. The W-hull is stable enough for standing casts. 400lb capacity, large forward storage hatch, accessory rail tracks for rod holders and electronics mounts, and a comfortable stadium seat for long days on the water.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between fin drive and propeller drive?
Fin drive is quieter and performs better in shallow water — ideal for fishing where stealth matters. Propeller drive gives you instant reverse, which is better for docking and maneuvering near structure. The Rocket Fin is the choice for anglers who prioritise stealth and shallow water access.
Is 9.8ft noticeably different from 9.5ft on the water?
Yes — the extra length improves straight-line tracking and efficiency. You'll cover more water with less effort, which matters on bigger lakes and open bays.
Will it fit in my car without a roof rack?
Yes. The two sections fit in the boot of most mid-size SUVs and hatchbacks without external racks or straps.
Can I stand up and fish from it?
Yes, in calm to moderate conditions. The W-hull is designed for stability. Most anglers stand comfortably on flat water and sheltered bays.
