Soft Hackle Bead Head Pheasant Tail Nymph: A modern fast-sinking variation of the classic Pheasant Tail Nymph originally created by English riverkeeper Frank Sawyer in the 1950s; this version adds a bead head for weight and soft hackle for enhanced movement
Effective Mayfly Nymph & Emerger Imitation: Accurately represents mayfly nymphs and emerging insects with a slender pheasant tail body and soft hackle that pulses naturally in the current
Premium Bead Head Construction: Hand-tied with a metal bead head for rapid sink rate, pheasant tail fibers for the body and tail, and soft hackle for lifelike underwater action
Versatile Year-Round Nymph: Performs well on freestone rivers, tailwaters, and streams throughout the season; highly effective for brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout
Proven Fast-Sinking Pattern: A durable nymph that combines the reliability of the classic Pheasant Tail with soft-hackle movement for consistent strikes when fish are feeding subsurface
