Swirled Star Destroyer (*DS) - Leopard3 Aviar *Gibson Stash*

12/5/-1/3   *Drew Gibson Stash!  The pride and joy of Drew Gibson's collection - this *DS Destroyers is one of a kind.  Double Stamped with Drew's Tour Series Leopard3 stamp and an Aviar Tour Series Stamp!  Some storage marks present, new.   

According to Drew, this run was stashed away at Innova and McBeth and him pulled them to have their signature stamps on them.  They were part of the Brinster / McBeth Aviar Run (same transitional plastic) and came out flat and a semi stiff feel. Said to fly longer and straighter and they feel amazing in the hand!!!  Very minor storage wear possible.   

Amazing swirls in this Pre-Embossed early Swirled Destroyer, an amazing run with one of the best hand feels of all of the Destroyers. Innova started embossing the mold name in 2017.

This was the first Speed 12 driver and is one of the primary discs used by many professional disc golfers. For less experienced players, the Destroyer excels for forehand throws. The Destroyer is overstable, but has a degree of turn to help provide incredible glide and distance. Intermediate players will get more distance on forehand throws with the Destroyer than just about any other disc. The Innova Destroyer is a very thin (1.4cm) disc, and has the perfect sized rim (2.2cm) for high speeds, without being uncomfortably thick. As such a popular driver, the Destroyer comes available in all the major plastics.
