Crafted from a proprietary blend of ultra-high molecular weight polymer, these 1/2" plastic skids outperform traditional metal plates in weight and durability. They absorb shocks without denting, galling, or corroding like metal skids.

Featuring formed leading edges, these skids protect frame edges and wheel wells while allowing smooth obstacle navigation. Extended side panels serve as slider nerfs, safeguarding the sides and rocker panels of your vehicle. Compared to competitors, Trail Armor offers comprehensive coverage, including the rocker panel.

The skids are easy to install and cover the entire vehicle, including the front and rear differentials. They extend around the belt housing, allowing easy maintenance access. The lap-jointed panels ensure a seamless sliding surface without catch points. Access holes and strategically placed drain holes simplify maintenance without skid removal. Standard sliders roll up the sides as shown in the product picture.  They act as a Nerf bar protecting the sides of the rocker panels.  Trimmed sliders extend past the bottom of the rocker panels about an inch but do not turn up the side.  You can use OEM tubular Nerf bars with trimmed sliders.   PLEASE SEE ALSO THE FITS CHART IN THE GALLERY FOR SPECIFIC YEARS AND MODEL FITMENT.
