The Treal Performance intake system was built in mind to capture cooler air temps then a factory system by not looping back over the top of that glowing red hot turbo which is never good for trying to keep air temps down and making the maximum amount of power.

We also wanting to keep the cleanest air possible from a intake system like this so be place the inlet filter in a location where the tire should not be throwing dirt, mud, and water on to it. We also chose a custom AFE Pro Guard 7 filter with a filtration efficiency of 99.7% which provides the greatest level of filtration efficiency and protection available on the market!

With five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and two layers of synthetic media between 100% polyurethane top and base, this high flow "oiled" conical performance filter provide maximum protection with highest cumulative filtration efficiency for severe duty environments. Washable and reusable for multiple cleanings, the tall open evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for longer service cycle between cleanings.
